Vector pricing

A vectorization is one text chunk converted into an embedding. Initial backfills and later updates use the same usage calculation, after applying any initial backfill credit. Updates that do not change embedded content do not create another vectorization.

The free plan includes 1K monthly vectorizations and a separate 2K initial backfill allowance. Paid Vector plans include a one-time initial backfill credit equal to twice the selected monthly volume, shared across all connected Postgres databases in your organization. Additional vectorizations are billed at pay as you go rates.

Free plan projects pause Vector syncing after 1K vectorizations in the current period and resume in the next free plan period. Upgrade to continue the initial backfill or ongoing sync without pausing.

Yes. Vector storage, indexes, and standard semantic query usage are included. Contact us about dedicated query capacity for unusually high-throughput workloads.

Pay as you go rates are the baseline rates shown on this page. If you commit and prepay monthly, usage is 20% cheaper while the platform fee stays the same. Usage above your commitment is billed automatically at pay as you go rates.

The free plan does not charge for connected Postgres databases. On paid plans, the platform fee is $95/mo per connected Postgres. It is charged once even when both Audit and Vector are enabled on the same database.
