Data retention refers to how long data changes are stored in the PgStack provisioned platform database.

Free plan projects are paused after 1K tracked data changes in the current period and resume in the next free plan period. Paid plans are usage based, so there is no hard monthly change limit on listed plans up to 10M changes. Higher volume teams can contact us for custom 10M+ pricing.

There are two main methods you can leverage to reduce data volumes. One is selective tracking, which lets you choose the specific tables you want to track when connecting a database. Another option is column-based filter rules, which let you ignore meaningless data changes that affected only columns like updatedAt.

Pay as you go rates are the baseline rates shown on this page. If you commit and prepay monthly, usage is 20% cheaper while the platform fee stays the same.

Yes, absolutely. You can cancel your subscription at any time. All data changes are stored in a provisioned PostgreSQL-compatible database, to which you have full access.

The free plan does not charge for connected Postgres databases. On paid plans, the platform fee is $95/mo per connected Postgres, and usage is calculated from the data changes tracked across that connected database.
